A few weeks ago there was an article online that stated one-third of married couples in America sleep in separate rooms. The reason for this was that one partner snored to loudly or was too restless (or both), which interfered with the other partner getting a good night’s sleep. MANY people commented on this article and said the two-room sleeping arrangement worked for them.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Sleeping in the same bed with your partner is one of the most intimate things you can do. Who’d want to miss that?
The highlight of my day—everyday—is that moment right before slumber—when I snuggle up next to Ye Ol’ Hubby man and I listen to him breathe (or snore, doesn’t bother me a bit) and I get an overwhelming feeling of well-being, where nothing in the world can touch me. I feel safe. In synch. At peace. In love. Then I drift off into la-la land.
This experience is enhanced when lying in the dark, with only a yellow speck of light from the radio, and listening to a BASEBALL GAME. So fun. So enchanting. SO ROMANTIC.
So to the San Francisco Giants and their announcers Kruk and Kuip, thanks for the fantastic baseball. You give us a LOT OF HAPPY.
And Congrats on winning the National League pennant last night against the formidable Phillies. You were the underdogs and you pulled it off. Well done Band of MiSFits!
