Yesterday in my blog about Burlesque the movie I mentioned these outstanding Louboutin shoes. ( They deserve a second look!)

Gold sparkly floral to-die-for pumps by Louboutin.
In the movie, Ali (Christina Aguilera’s character) spots them on another woman in a party scene and gushes over them (as any woman would!). Then later the guy who is her date at the party buys the same shoes for her.
In real life, the creative Louboutin cobblers custom-made these shoes specifically for Ms. Aguilera to wear in the movie. According to the Internet (a reliable source?), the shoes are not available for regular folks like you and me. Even if they were, the price range makes them still unavailable for me.
The gold shoes are patterned after another pair of shoes by Louboutin called “Margot.”

"Margot" open-toe floral applique and beaded shoes by Louboutin only come in black.
They retail for $2,495. HA HA HA! For shoes! When food banks are bare because so many people in America can’t afford food and need a free meal. And Louboutin charges $2,495 for SHOES for heaven sakes! Do you know how many groceries that money can buy? (Note to rich people: If you are contributing to the bottom line of the Louboutin Shoe Company, I hope you are also contributing to your local food bank.)
Next, I think Christina Aguilera needs Blake Lively’s stylist. Here’s Christina at the premiere of Burlesque, her debut movie.

I like the color of the dress but that’s it. This is a pregnant-lady dress. It is the fashion equivalent of a strapless muu-muu. No one looks good in a muu-muu. The designer, Ellie Saab, should be sobbing!
This dress uses too much material. It looks like she grabbed the billiard room curtains and wrapped them around herself. Consequently, the dress totally disguises her fabulous figure. (If you want to see her great body, see the movie.)

More of the baggy dress and a shot of Christina's shoes.
These are the shoes Christina is wearing. They are also by Louboutin, called “Eugenie.” Why didn’t she wear the ultra-cool gold ones from the movie?

This dress would have been a better choice than the Hefty trash sack dress.

This is a dress Christina wore in the movie. It looked stunning on her as it showed off her curves.
Here’s the dress Blake Lively wore to the premiere for her movie The Town in Boston last month.

WOW–now that’s some dress.
Lastly for Christina, no Dolly Parton hair-do. It looks fine on Dolly. But not on Christina, who is only 29 years old!

Old looking hair style and too much face paint.
Here’s Blake Lively in another cool dress, which accents her figure. Note the natural looking hair and make-up.

You get the idea…
Blake – Could you please give Christina your stylist’s name and number?

OMG I LOVE THE SHOES THAT WERE SPECIALLY MADE FOR CHRISTINA IF THEY WERE AVAIABLE TO BUY I DONT CARE ABOUT THE PRICE I WOULD SAVE…
Hi Amanda,
I totally get your love for these shoes. There’s a new book coming out about the costumes used in “Burlesque,”, including commentary about these incredible custom-made shoes. I will be ordering the book and blogging about the fashion info later. Stay tuned…
